Review by hotel critic
Stepping into the Brandon Inn felt like a journey back in time. the historic building exuded charm with its elegant public rooms and antique furniture, creating a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of a scene from my favorite movie, Clue. Despite the nostalgic vibe, the modern bathroom in our spacious room offered a perfect blend of old-world charm and contemporary comfort. Being a tech enthusiast, I appreciated the classic touch of using a physical key instead of the common key card. the meticulous attention to detail in preserving the inn's historical character while providing modern amenities was truly commendable. Situated in the picturesque Lake Champlain Valley, the Brandon Inn's central location was ideal for exploring the quaint village and nearby attractions. We enjoyed leisurely walks to the charming shops, restaurants, and the Brandon Museum, immersing ourselves in the rich history and culture of the area. Overall, the Brandon Inn offered a unique and immersive experience that appealed to my love for blending tradition with modernity. It was a delightful weekend getaway that left me with fond memories and a desire to return to explore more of the Green Mountains' beauty.
